Couples Massage in Eau Claire, WI
Two Tables, One Room · Each Person Chooses Their Own Style · 60 or 90 Minutes
A couples massage is two separate massages happening side by side in the same room, at the same time, with two therapists. It is not a shared session and there is nothing to coordinate — a 60 minute or 90 minute booking means you each get your own therapist, your own style and your own pressure, while staying in the same space.
That last part is what people actually book it for. This page covers how the room works, what each of you can choose, what it suits, and how to book at Q Healthy Spa. Certified therapists, open 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM all 7 days, at 2151 Eastridge Center in Eau Claire.
What You Should Know
Two Therapists, Not One Taking Turns
Both massages run at the same time for the full 60 or 90 minutes. Nobody waits, and nobody gets a shortened session.
You Each Pick Your Own Style
One of you can have deep tissue while the other has Swedish. Pressure, focus areas and add-ons are set independently at intake — you do not have to compromise on a single booking.
Not Just for Couples
Friends, siblings, a parent and adult child, or a pair of coworkers on a wellness day all book this. The format is simply two people in one room.
Cupping or Gua Sha on Either Side
Add cupping to one massage and not the other if that is what you each want. Mention it at booking so we schedule therapists who cover it.
Hot Stone + Sauna for Both
Included with every session at no extra charge. Plan an extra 15 to 20 minutes if you both want to use it afterward.
Book 3 to 7 Days Ahead
A couples booking needs two therapists free at the same time, so it fills faster than a single session — especially Friday and Saturday evenings.

How the room actually works
Two tables, set side by side with enough space between them for each therapist to work without crowding. You are both in the room for the whole session, at the same time, on the same clock.
Beyond that, the two massages are independent. Intake happens separately, so you can tell your therapist about a shoulder that has been bothering you without turning it into a group conversation. Pressure, focus areas and whether you want to talk or stay quiet are yours to set.

Different styles, same room
This is the part people are most often surprised by. One of you can book 90 minutes of deep tissue on a bad lower back while the other has a straightforward Swedish session. The therapists work independently; the only thing you share is the room and the start time.
Futon massage is the one exception — it runs on a floor mat rather than a table, so pairing it with a table session in the same room depends on the day. Ask when you call and we will tell you what is possible.
Talking, or not
Some pairs chat the whole way through, some say about four words. Both are normal and neither therapist will steer you either way. If you would rather it be quiet, say so at intake and we will keep conversation to check-ins about pressure.
Choosing what each of you books
The most common combination we see is one deep tissue and one Swedish, which tells you something useful: most pairs do not actually want the same massage. The table below is a quick way to decide before you call.
| If you want | Book | Length | Add-on worth considering |
|---|---|---|---|
| To relax and switch off | Swedish | 60 min | Hot stone (included) |
| Knots and chronic tightness worked | Deep tissue | 90 min | Cupping |
| Desk-job neck and shoulders eased | Deep tissue or therapeutic | 60 min | Gua sha |
| Stretching and hip mobility | Futon (floor mat) | 90 min | Cupping |
| A first massage, nothing intense | Swedish | 60 min | None |
| Something tailored to a specific issue | Relaxation / therapeutic | 60 or 90 min | Ask at intake |
Booking, timing and gifts
Call 715-256-8288 and say it is a couples booking — that way we schedule two therapists rather than one. Aim for 3 to 7 days ahead, and more like a week or two for a Friday or Saturday evening, since two therapists have to be free on the same slot.
If it is a gift, we can arrange that over the phone. Tell us the occasion when you book; it costs nothing and it lets the therapists set the room accordingly.
How long the whole visit takes
Add about 15 minutes to the session length for intake and changing. Add another 15 to 20 if you both want the sauna afterward, which is included. So a 60 minute couples massage is realistically about 90 minutes at the spa, and a 90 minute booking runs closer to 2 hours.
We are at 2151 Eastridge Center, Floor 1, #C, with free parking directly outside — no meters and no garage to navigate on the way in.
An honest word on what to expect
Massage is well supported for relaxation and for easing ordinary muscle tension, and a shared session is a genuinely good way to spend an hour with someone. What it is not is a medical treatment. NCCIH is careful about that distinction and so are we.
If either of you is dealing with an injury, persistent pain, or anything sharp and new, see a medical provider first. Tell your therapist about medications, pregnancy or skin conditions at intake — it changes what is appropriate, particularly for add-ons like cupping.
How to Book a Massage at Q Healthy Spa
Booking takes about 2 minutes and there is no online form to fill in. Call 715-256-8288 any day between 9:00 AM and 9:30 PM, say which service and length you want, and the session is held under your first name. Walk-ins are taken when a table is free, which on weekday afternoons is most of the time.
- Call 715-256-8288. Someone answers the phone during all 12.5 open hours, 7 days a week — there is no booking app and no deposit.
- Pick a length: 60 minutes for a full body session, 90 minutes for unhurried work on the back and shoulders, or 120 minutes when you want both.
- Pick a pressure: light, medium, or firm. You can change it mid-session at any point, and saying so does not offend anyone.
- Mention add-ons at booking. Cupping and gua sha are added to a 60 or 90 minute session and need a few extra minutes set aside.
- Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early at 2151 Eastridge Center, Floor 1, Suite C. Parking is free and the entrance is on the ground floor.
- Tell the therapist what hurts and what to avoid before the session starts. This 60-second conversation is what makes the other 59 minutes useful.
- Pay by cash or card at the end. First-time visitors get $5 off, and no appointment is needed to claim it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a couples massage?
Two massages running at the same time in the same room, with two therapists and two tables. It is not a shared or coordinated session — each person gets their own therapist, style, pressure and focus areas. The only things you share are the room and the start time.
Can we choose different types of massage?
Yes, and most pairs do. The most common combination we see is one deep tissue and one Swedish. Pressure, focus areas and add-ons like cupping or gua sha are set independently at intake, so neither of you has to compromise on a single booking.
Do we have to be a couple?
No. Friends, siblings, a parent and an adult child, or coworkers on a wellness day book this regularly. The format is simply two people in one room at the same time.
How far ahead should we book?
3 to 7 days for most slots, and a week or two for Friday and Saturday evenings. A couples booking needs two therapists free simultaneously, so it fills noticeably faster than a single session. Call 715-256-8288 and say it is for two.
How long should we book, 60 or 90 minutes?
60 minutes is the most-booked length and works well for relaxation or one problem area each. Book 90 if either of you wants real work on more than one region, or if you are adding cupping — the cups take 15 to 30 minutes of the session on their own.
Is hot stone and sauna included for both of us?
Yes, complimentary for both at no extra charge, as with every session at Q Healthy Spa. Plan an extra 15 to 20 minutes if you both want to use the sauna afterward. First visits are $5 off each.
Can one of us book futon massage?
Sometimes. Futon massage runs on a floor mat rather than a table, so pairing it with a table session in the same room depends on the day and the room setup. Ask when you call at 715-256-8288 and we will tell you what is possible for your slot.
Can we buy a couples massage as a gift?
Yes — call 715-256-8288 and we will arrange it over the phone. Mention the occasion when you book. We are open 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM all 7 days at 2151 Eastridge Center, Floor 1, #C, with free parking outside.
