Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is the complete account of what Q Healthy Spa collects, why, and how long any of it survives. The short version: 3 cookies, all of them Google's, no IP addresses stored, nothing ever sold. If you would rather ask a person, the phone is 715-256-8288 and it is answered every day from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

It covers qhealthyspa.com and the 2 ways you can reach the studio from it: the phone number and the email address. It does not cover Google, Yelp or any of the 50+ directory listings we appear in, each of which runs its own policy — you can see that whole list on our business links page.

The 3 Cookies This Site Sets

Every cookie on this site belongs to Google — 2 for Analytics and 1 for Ads. We set none of our own, there is no login, and there is no cart. The table below is the complete list, with Google's documented lifetime for each one rather than a rounded guess.

What We Collect, and What We Do Not

Google Analytics 4 reports which of our 25 pages were viewed, in what order, from roughly which city, on what kind of device. It is aggregate and it does not name you. What we never collect is payment data — every transaction is cash or card at the desk, and no card number touches this website at any point.

When you call or email, we write down a first name, a callback number, and anything medical your therapist should work around. Our certified therapists use that note to avoid asking the same question twice. It is kept for up to 24 months, it is never entered into an advertising system, and it is never shared. You can read how a session actually runs on our about page or in the massage FAQ.

How to Opt Out of Analytics in Under 2 Minutes

You do not have to accept analytics to use this site — every page works with all 3 tags blocked, because the HTML is rendered before any script runs. These are the 4 routes out, in rough order of how permanent they are, and none of them requires contacting us first.

  1. Install Google's official opt-out add-on. It blocks Google Analytics in that browser across every site, permanently, and it is published by Google itself.
  2. Turn on your browser's tracking protection. Firefox, Safari, Brave and Edge all ship with it built in, and all 4 block analytics cookies at their strictest setting.
  3. Block cookies for this domain in your browser settings. The site still renders in full — nothing here is behind a script.
  4. Ask us to delete anything you sent by email or phone. Call 715-256-8288 or email [email protected] and we will remove the record within 30 days.

How Long Things Last

Analytics cookies expire on their own in 2 years, or 90 days for the Ads cookie. Phone and email notes are destroyed after 24 months. A deletion request is completed within 30 days. Nothing is retained indefinitely, and there is no archive — when a record is deleted here, it is gone rather than flagged.

Where to Take a Complaint

Start with us: call 715-256-8288 or email [email protected] and we will answer. If that does not resolve it, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection takes consumer complaints from Wisconsin residents, and the Federal Trade Commission publishes the federal standard a business like ours is held to. Massage therapists in Wisconsin are separately licensed by the Department of Safety and Professional Services, which handles conduct complaints rather than privacy ones.

Third Parties and Your Controls

Two Google properties receive data from this site. You can read Google's privacy policy, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or change what Google personalises at My Ad Center. None of the 3 requires our involvement, and none of them affects your ability to book.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page rather than emailing anyone, because we do not hold a mailing list to email. This version is dated February 15, 2026. To book a session while you are here, call 715-256-8288 or use the contact page.

Privacy Policy FAQ

Does Q Healthy Spa sell my personal information?

No. We have never sold, rented or traded personal information, and we do not run advertising that requires sharing a customer list. The only third parties that receive anything are Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, both of which receive anonymous usage data rather than a name, and neither of which receives your massage history.

Do you store my IP address?

No. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses — it uses them momentarily to derive an approximate city-level location and then discards them. We never see an IP address in any report available to us, and we keep no server logs of our own because this site is served as static files from a CDN.

What happens to the details I give over the phone?

We write down what a session needs — a first name, a callback number, and anything medical you told us to work around. That note exists so your therapist does not have to ask twice. It is kept for up to 24 months and then destroyed, and it is never entered into an advertising system.

Is my health information covered by HIPAA here?

Almost certainly not. HIPAA applies to covered entities such as clinics that bill insurance electronically; a cash-and-card massage studio is generally outside it. That does not lower our standard — we treat what you tell us about your body as confidential regardless of whether a federal statute compels it.

How do I ask you to delete my information?

Call 715-256-8288 between 9:00 AM and 9:30 PM any day of the week, or email [email protected]. Tell us the name and phone number to look for. We will confirm what we hold, delete it within 30 days, and confirm again in writing when it is done.
